Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, payments and receipts
  • Reconciliations of various bank accounts, supplier statements and financial records
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for various entities within the TBOL group, using Quickbooks and SAP accounting software
  • Ensuring timely and accurate payment of accounts payable and timely receipt of accounts receivable balances
  • Assisting the Financial Controller in performing the month-end close procedures each month, preparing underlying schedules incl. accruals and prepayments, and helping on the preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Manage various relationships – including handling queries from suppliers, clients, auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Provide general, ad-hoc administrative support to the finance team
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings

What you bring

  • The ability to analyse, appraise and improve all systems and processes within a financial control environment.
  • Strong time management skills and a proven ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in dealing with senior colleagues in the organisation
  • Accounts production skills gained through prior experience in financial control
  • Excel and Word skills
  • Formal accountancy training or qualifications in the UK, such as ACCA or equivalent. While full Chartered Accountant status is not required, a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices is essential for this role
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Quickbooks is welcome, but not required
  • 4+ years experience

Work location

  • London (5 days per week in the office)

Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
